As a Service Desk Intern, you will provide first-level technical support by assisting users with basic IT concerns, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues, and ensuring timely resolution or proper escalation. You will help resolve common concerns such as login issues, email access, and system navigation, while guiding users through step-by-step solutions to enhance their overall experience.
You will be responsible for logging, tracking, and updating incidents and service requests in the ticketing system, ensuring all details and resolution steps are accurately documented. The role also includes supporting user account setup, password resets, and access provisioning, as well as assisting with onboarding and offboarding IT requirements and maintaining IT asset inventory.
This role requires strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, eager to learn, and able to apply problem-solving skills to technical challenges.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals currently pursuing or recently completing a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field who are looking to gain practical experience in IT service desk operations.
