ClearSource is seeking a motivated Associate Civil Engineer to support our client’s expanding Solar Program. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in reviewing and validating the structural integrity of residential rooftop solar designs, ensuring they meet engineering standards and local requirements. Your expertise will directly support Designers, Site Technicians, Permit Coordinators, and Installers—helping projects move forward smoothly and efficiently.
You’ll also contribute to research for new markets, collaborate closely with our Professional Engineer (PE) team on special initiatives, and conduct onsite field inspections and structural observation reports when needed. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented engineering graduate who is eager to grow, take ownership of their work, and make a meaningful impact in the renewable energy space.

What you will do as an Associate Civil Engineer
• Review and analyze structural integrity of residential rooftop solar designs.
• Required to consistently handle high production volumes efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Research engineering requirements for potential new markets.
• Provide Structural Engineering support for Site Technicians, Designers, Permit Coordinators, and Installers.
• Provide onsite field inspections and Structural Observations Reports when requested.
• Works with PE Team in taking direction and executing on special projects as needed (Engineering SOP, New Product Research, etc.).
• Additional responsibilities as needed.

What We're Looking For
• Civil Engineer Graduates with at least 1 year of related working experience
• License required.
• Knowledge of Solar preferred; MS Office skills, detail-oriented
• English written communication and Verbal Communication must be strong.
