ClearSource is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant with a strong knowledge of QuickBooks to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Track accounts receivable and follow up on overdue invoices.
- Perform regular bank, credit card, and account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in financial records.
- Calculate and process employee salaries, benefits, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with tax and labor laws.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to appropriate authorities.
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management.
- Provide financial data and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in creating and monitoring budgets to track company performance against financial goals.
- Complete all necessary month-end and year-end accounting processes.
- Prepare records for audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data.
- At least 2-3 years of experience as an Accountant or in a related role.
- US GAAP experience preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (desktop and/or online versions) with hands-on experience in managing complex financial transactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Solid understanding of intermediate accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies and maintain accuracy in financial records.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with tax preparation and compliance is a plus.
