Solar Performance Diagnostic Technician

In this role, you will remotely diagnose photovoltaic (PV) system issues, including non-operation and underperformance, using advanced monitoring tools and real-time data. You’ll play a key part in maximizing Field Service efficiency by ensuring the right equipment, technician skill sets, and proper resources are aligned with each on-site work order. Your expertise will also support live diagnostic consultations with internal teams, helping resolve issues quickly and accurately.

What will you do as a Solar Performance Diagnostic Technician
Key Responsibilities:
Remotely diagnose PV system issues including non-operation and underperformance.
Maximize Field Service efficiency by ensuring the correct equipment, skillset, and the number of technicians on-site work orders.
Assist in live Diagnostic Consultation with other departments via phone.
Understand and apply corporate policies, process documentation, manufacturer's specifications and requirements.
Provide feedback on trends you are seeing to our Diagnostics Leadership.
Adhere to established schedule as designated by leadership.
Maintain professionalism and responsiveness in workplace and online communications.
Make meaningful contributions in all weekly meetings (1x1’s and team huddles) by maintaining engagement through questions and responses.

What We're Looking For
Graduate of Engineering or Technical course
Must have 1-year Technical Support Experience, preferably with Solar
